During my time with Irina, spent cooking in her kitchen, taking notes as she concocted beautiful creations, I was aware that she was passing knowledge down to me that would aid in my healing work with others. As a journalist, I wrote a blanket statement during the intensive training describing my ideas for starting out with my own line of products. Just as everything must begin somewhere in order to change and grow as they season this was my first vision for making salves with beeswax and essential oils. I believe we are meant to share our experiences and in so doing enrich others through the choices and creations we embody. Here are my original thoughts for "BeeLoved Bliss Cosmetics" and working with honeybee medicines
"Creamy concoctions to enrich the vitality of your skin, hair & nails created in harmony with nature, though Mother Earth wisdoms passed down and remembered by wise women. Since ancient times, honeybees have lived in Nature’s abundance, humbly serving the Earth Mother & humankind with a fervent passion for pollination, foraging & producing honey. It is with extreme gratitude & respect for the sisterhood of the Melissae that I seek to share their knowledge. With a willingness to learn & an open heart, I honor the labor and dedication honeybees continue to express in spite of many environmental obstacles today. The sweet nectar of goddess bees, mixed with herbal infusions & healing oils stoke the passion fire within, while calming and soothing the skin to bring balance, health & love back to personal care products. Self treatments with honey & bee products simply reflect the love that nature so readily supplies for our further empowerment & growth on this planet."
.And so BeeLoved Bliss was born and continues to grow on the simple bounties that come from the Earth. I feel blessed to share my beauty creations with you all!
May you feel their inherent power and be reminded of your place in the wholly system of Nature that we share with every plant, tree and animal creating the precious eco-systems on this beautiful blue planet.
Bee Well,
